August Week 1- Jesus Christ is a God of Miracles
This week we begin to talk about Christ and that He is a God of miracles. Christ performed so many miracles during His ministry, and He still continues to show us miracles in our own lives. This week there is a move posted. This movie is "Finding Faith in Christ." It's a thirty minute video, but shows so many of the great miracles that Christ performed for others. We invite you to watch it with your family, and talk about the miracles Christ has performed, and the miracles that we see in our own lives.
August
The theme for August is Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and He is a God of Miracles. We will be learning about the miracles that Christ performed and how people with faith can have miracles in their own life. This is such a great testimony builder for everyone in primary.
The scripture this month is "For behold, I am God; and I am a God or miracles,... and I work not among the children of men save it be according to their faith" (2 Nephi 27:23).
Our song is "I Know He Lives." This is only accessible through your primary CD. If you do not have a copy of this yet, please let someone in the primary know, and we can give you a copy of it.
The primary program is coming up quick, so please listen to those CD's to keep the songs fresh in the children's mind.

July, Week 4- The Sacrament
This week in sharing time we will be learning about the sacrament. For this week the article we found is "Rowdy to Reverent." It is in this months edition of "The Friend." If you do not have access to this the link to it on lds.org is https://www.lds.org/friend/2015/07/rowdy-to-reverent?lang=eng
This article is about reverence in primary and following Christ's example, but we encourage you to read this with your children and to talk with them about the importance of the sacrament, and why it's important to be reverent. Also how they can carry the spirit with them through the rest of church, and in the coming days.
There is also an activity to go with the article at https://www.lds.org/friend/2015/07/family-fun-time.p1?lang=eng
July
The theme for July is "I can follow Jesus Christ's example." The scripture is Jesus said, “Come, follow me” (Luke 18:22). The song we are learning is "Come Follow Me." This has been a great month for us to learn how we can become like Jesus Christ, and to recognize the things He did for us.
Since we are learning about Christ, and also church wide we are trying to focus on the sacrament, we are having a special sharing time next week on the sacrament. We are hoping this will bring a better understanding to the children as to the importance of the sacrament, and how it pertains to them. We are also encouraging to continue the feeling during the sacrament and felt throughout church to continue in our homes. We are going to try to post an article from the "Friend" each week to go with our theme. We have a monthly theme, but we have subjects that expand our on monthly theme weekly. Hopefully we can help with articles to that can be read at home that go along with our weekly/ monthly themes. Thank you for your continued love and support. We love your children, and we learn so much from their testimonies each week.
June
Sorry we are a month behind again. For June the theme was The Holy Ghost testifies the truth of all things. The scripture to go with this theme is “By the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things” (Moroni 10:5). The song is "The Holy Ghost." It was a great theme and month for us to recognize and learn about the Holy Ghost. It was also important for everyone to learn that we can all feel of the Holy Ghost, even if we do not have the gift of the Holy Ghost.
As a side note, our program is getting close! So please let us know if you need a CD with the program songs on it. We have some extras and would love for everyone to have a copy so they can listen to the songs at home.

May
This month in primary we out theme is "The Principles and Ordinances of the Gospel lead me to Jesus Christ." Our scripture is Article of Faith 1:4-" We believe that the first principle sand ordinances of the Gospel are; first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second. Repentance; this, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost." Our song is "Faith." We are really excited about this month and how it will help all of us to strengthen our testimonies.
April
Although April is already past, it was a great month in Primary. It was about the restoration of the gospel through Joseph Smith. What a special month for us, especially with all of the great talks that were given in General Conference at the beginning of the month.
The song of the month was "I Belong to the Church of Jesus Christ."
Below is the video of the first vision. Please take time to watch this incredible movie with your family.
